    春秋末年鲁国人，一说陈国人。姓巫马，名施，
字子旗，亦称巫马旗、巫马期。以勤奋著称，《韩诗外传》卷一载，他为单父
宰时，“以星出，以星入，日夜不处，以身亲之”，而使单父治。唐开元二十
七年（７３９年）追封“　伯”。宋大中祥符二年（１００９年）
加封“东阿侯”。明嘉靖九年（１５３０年）改称“先贤巫马子”。
