    春秋末年鲁国人，一说蔡国人。姓漆雕，名开，
字子若，亦说字子开。为人虚心好学。《孔子家语·弟子解》说他“习《尚书
》，不乐仕”。有一次孔子叫他去做官，说：“子之齿可以仕矣，时将过。”
他回答说“吾斯之未能信”，表示不愿做官。孔子听后很高兴。唐开元二十七
年（７３９年）追封“滕伯”。宋大中祥符二年（１００９年）加封“平舆侯
”。明嘉靖九年（１５３０年）改称“先贤漆雕子”。
