    春秋末年鲁国人。字子木。好学《易》。据《史记
·仲尼弟子列传》载，“孔子传《易》于瞿，瞿传楚人　臂子弘”
，《易》由此传于后世。唐开元二十七年（７３９年）追封“蒙伯”。宋大中
祥符二年（１００９年）加封“须昌侯”。明嘉靖九年（１５３０年）改称“
先贤商子”。
