　　位于蓬莱县蓬莱水城东北部。1988年建立。1984年6月，在登州古港小海清淤
工程中出土元代古船1艘，是中国迄今发现最大的古代海上战船。1988年经国家文
物局批准，筹建古船博物馆，1990年5月建成开放。设办公室、陈列群工组、保卫
组，工作人员13人。主要任务是从事古船及水下文物的征集、保护、陈列、研究。
　　馆址为一仿古木结构建筑，建筑面积1305平方米。陈列厅除元代大型战船外，
同时展出有日本、朝鲜李朝文物及中国古代船用铜炮、铁炮、石碇、铁锚等文物。
