　　1953年10月27日，山东省人民政府公布设立山东省人民政府体育运动委员会，
1953年11月11日启用印章，由山东省人民政府文化教育委员会直接领导。办公地址
在济南普利门外崇阳里。
　　山东省人民政府体育运动委员会设置办公室，下设秘书科、组织宣传科和群众
体育科。编制13人，实为21人。夏征农兼体委主任，刘建飞兼任副主任。
