　　农民生活调查(即农村住户调查)是以农户家庭的收入和消费为主要内容的一项
综合性社会经济调查。通过调查了解农村经济发展和农民生活变化的情况，提供反
映农民收入和消费水平及其结构变化的资料。50年代初期，全国曾零散地进行过一
些农民家计调查，进而由国家统一调查方案，进行一次性的农民家计调查，以后又
逐步建立农家收支经常性登记，使调查资料建立在可靠的基础上。1984年，农家收
支调查正式改名为农村住户调查。
