    建国以来山东省的交通邮电逐步发展，1979年改革开放以后，在加强基础设施
建设中加快了发展步伐。到1992年已形成以济南为中心，以铁路为主干，由铁路、
公路、水运、民航、管道多种运输方式形成的四通八达的综合运输网。同时，形成
以济南为中心、采用电缆、明线、微波为传输手段，联接国家通信主干线，沟通全
省城市乡村，以火车、汽车、轮船、飞机等为传递手段的具有较高效能的邮电通信
网。
