    黄金、白银作为货币，虽也经过铸造，有块状、钣状、船形、饼状等形式，但
长期是通过秤量，计值行使。其间也有仿铜钱式样的金银钱，但很少进入流通。宋
以后，已不以黄金为货币。明清两代，都通行银两制度。外国银元流入后，始铸本
国银元。金币偶有铸造，亦未进入流通。
