    中国仅有合鳃鱼科Synbranchidae1种。
    黄鳝 Monopterus albus(Zuiew)古称　，今通称鳝鱼，湖区名血鳝。口大，鳃孔
小，左右鳃孔连成一横缝。无偶鳍，背鳍和臀鳍退化成一皮褶，与尾鳍相连。体光滑
无鳞，富粘液。在水底钻洞穴居，能借口腔呼吸，不易死。夜出觅食。亲鱼有护巢习
性。肉味美，经济价值较高。
