    鳕科Gadidae
    大头鳕Gadus macrocephalus Telesius沿海称大头鱼或大口。体长形，稍侧扁，
头大。 背鳍3个，臀鳍2个，腹鳍喉位。颏下有1须。鳞很小。体背侧灰黑，具多数棕
黑及黄色小斑，腹部灰白。为底层冷温性鱼类，肉食性，为黄海北部主要经济鱼类之
一。山东沿海过去产量较大，年产达万吨以上，最高曾达2.8万吨(1959年) ，60年代
以后，资源下降，年产量2000吨～3000吨，80年代一般年产仅数百吨。鳕除食用外，
肝大，为制鱼肝油重要原料。
    狭鳕 Thergra chalcogramma(Pallas) 即明太鱼，亦为冷温性经济鱼类。黄海东
部较多，山东沿海很少。
