    通常栖于山林间，并永栖止于树枝上。夜间活动，飞行时捕取昆虫为食。山东仅
1科、1种。
    夜鹰科Caprimulgidae
    普通夜鹰Caprimulgusindicus(Latham) ,通体为黑、灰、黑褐斑杂状，
颏、喉黑褐色，下喉有白斑。栖于山地疏林，白天伏于树干或在地面上，羽色与树干
极相似，俗称“贴树皮”，亦叫蚊母鸟。吃食金龟子和甲虫等。
