　　随着技术引进工作的开展，对外技术交流也有很大发展。1978年后，来山东的
日本、香港、联邦德国、美国、意大利、新加坡、瑞士等国家和地区的同行，每年
平均四、五十人次。与此同时，山东建材部门也派出人员到国外进行技术考察。
1983-1985年，仅去日本的就有5批21人次，先后考察了日本砂粒采掘及加工情况，
新型建筑材料发展情况，水泥、建筑机械、石灰及混凝土生产技术，并商谈了滑石
微粉设备补偿贸易等。
