    递铺始设于宋朝，时称急递脚。当时，在比较偏僻、驿站到达不了的地方设递铺，
用以传递官方文书，每隔5里或10里设一铺，最远20里，每铺设邮卒5人，每五卒设一
长。明永乐、万历年间，山东胶州、邹城、掖县等地均设有递铺。清朝沿革元明旧制，
山东设铺1128.5座，司兵共3222.5名。1728年(雍正六年)裁铺29座，裁司兵193.5名。
