　　1990年7月30日，坪岚线正式临管运营。经省地方铁路局批准，成立山东省地
方铁路局岚山临时运营管理处。临管处设办公室、人劳、计财、运输、工电、物资
材料科等职能部门。临管处隶属山东省地方铁路局领导。坪岚线的建成和运营，对
国家开放岚山港，对鲁东南地区的经济开发，对外贸易和发展地方铁路事业必将起
到重大的作用。
