　　1905年，胶济铁路沿线设电报房25处，共有莫尔斯式(凿孔)电报机35部，单线
串连，单工闭电式通报。1911年，津浦铁路沿线采用莫尔斯式电报机开始通报。到
1920年，胶济铁路电报房增至58处，电报机增至87部；津浦铁路沿线设电报房101
处，电报机共156部。30年代起，省内铁路改用音响电报，并一直沿用到50年代初
期，逐步为音频振荡电报代替。
