　　民国时期，山东汽车运输业在军阀割据和战争影响下，时兴时衰，大量业户或
遭军阀劫掠而停业，或经营亏损而倒闭。中华人民共和国建立后，主要由国营和集
体汽车运输企业担负全省公路运输任务。各级政府一贯重视交通运输业，公路运输
部门不断改善企业管理，在完成运输任务、增加营业收入的同时，扩大了企业经营，
增强了运输实力。
