　　山东公路汽车货物运输，始于1912年，发展速度不及客运，至抗日战争前，货
运汽车不过数百辆。新中国建立后，山东公路运输部门担负着国家建设、国防、港
站等重点运输任务，通过普通货运、零担货运、大件运输、集装箱运输、货物联运
以及组织机关、企业货运，完成了大量物资的经常性运输。
