    多由中生代红色碎屑岩或火山碎屑岩组成，占丘陵面积的13.3％左右，分布于中
生代断陷盆地区。如沂沭断裂带的沂水-　　、郯城-莒县-安丘丘陵带；断裂带东侧
的莒南-临沭、诸城-胶县丘陵带、莒县-五莲丘陵区；鲁东的桃村-万第丘陵区，以及
海阳-乳山沿海丘陵等。沂沭断裂带以西仅有零星分布。如新泰、平邑、蒙阴以及淄
川、周村一带的红色碎屑岩缓丘等。
    丘陵形态多为平缓浑圆状小岭或丘岗，丘岗间为宽浅沟谷，切割深度一般小于5
0米。地面波状起伏形态与结晶岩系丘陵相似。丘陵山坡风化后多为粗碎屑砂砾，水
土流失较严重。
