    山东省的潮土在30～40年代曾称为冲积土，50年代改为浅色草甸地，1958年全国
第一次土壤普查，在总结群众经验的基础上，提出了潮土名称。1978年制定的全国土
壤分类系统中正式划出了潮土类型。第二次土壤普查将其划入半水成土纲。
