    棕壤又称棕色森林土。30年代中期，省内棕壤曾命名为“山东棕壤”，50年代又
将“山东棕壤”的一部分划为褐土或大部分划为淋溶褐土和典型褐土，80年代发表的
专著、论文及第二次土壤普查比较客观地确定了棕壤在省内的地位及其与褐土之间的
分布规律和特点。
