　　煤气机是以煤气发生炉产生的煤气输入气缸内燃烧而产生动力的一种内燃机。
山东推广使用的煤气机大部分是省内生产的，也有从天津等地引进的。1947年，莱
阳隆茂铁工厂仿制了6马力煤气机，1950-1952年，又自行设计了8马力、25马力煤
气机，1958年，又试制出2110型15、16、20马力煤气机。潍坊、青岛等地也生产了
一批煤气机。从1956年到1966年，共推广各种型号煤气机12325台、139063.5马力。
主要用在农田排灌和农副产品加工上。随着国家石油生产的发展，煤气机为柴油机、
汽油机所取代。
