　　山东煤矿采掘工作面冒顶事故突出，是影响生产、危及人身安全的一大灾害。
1932-1939年，中日合办鲁大矿业公司淄川炭矿冒顶伤亡2112人，占该矿伤亡总人
数的64%。中华人民共和国成立后，全省统配煤矿不断改善和加强顶板管理，顶板
事故显著减少。1949-1990年顶板事故共死亡1457人，占死亡总人数的41.64%。
