　　1989年12月，桩西采油厂成立。1995年底，该厂设三级单位23个、四级单位75
个，有职工3098人，固定资产原值20.62亿元，年原油生产能力86万吨。厂机关驻
东营市河口区仙河镇。
　　该厂油田勘探开发区位于东营市东北部、黄河三角洲顶端，面积约550平方千
米。管理着桩西、长堤、五号桩、老河口等4个油田。1995年底，全厂油井391口，
平均日产油量2412吨；注水井176口，平均日注水量11292立方米，综合含水78.1％。
1995年生产原油92万吨。所管油田累计生产原油1119.69万吨。
