　　阿胶世代遵古炮制，生产能力不高。清末，东阿县城制胶名家邓氏树德堂、涂
氏怀德堂，各有工人20名、胶锅10～12口，年产阿胶2000公斤；加上其他各户共10
多个作坊，年产阿胶仅万余公斤。1933年，全省专制阿胶的厂铺有23家，(济南15
家，东阿县7家，阳谷县1家)，总计资本32800元,年产阿胶38700斤,年产值93600元。
鼎盛时期的1936年前后，全省阿胶年产量也不过5万公斤。1948年，全省有阿胶作
坊16个，年产阿胶2万公斤。建国后，设备更新，工艺改革，产量不断增加，1958
年生产阿胶6.48万公斤，1975年9.76万公斤，1980年10.7万公斤，1985年，28.29
万公斤，比1958年增长3.37倍，比1948年增长13.15倍。1987年阿胶生产能力达到
年产69.9万公斤，比1980年增长5.53倍。
