　　合成材料主要包括合成树脂、合成橡胶、合成纤维单体三大类高分子聚合物，
又称三大合成材料。
　　山东省合成材料工业萌芽于建国前夕，当时只在胶东解放区生产电木粉一个品
种，且以农副产品为原料，产量很少。建国后，有机化工原料工业的发展和高分子
聚合技术的进步，为合成材料工业提供了原料来源和技术条件，使这一新兴工业自
60年代以来迅速发展。1958年，全省合成材料只有合成树脂，产量不足2000吨；
1988年已发展成包括三大合成材料在内的生产体系，总产量达到22．31万吨。
