　　硫酸是一种重要的基本化工原料，广泛用于各个工业部门，曾被称为“工业之
母”。山东省硫酸工业起始于20世纪初期，建国前产量很少，主要用于制造火药。
建国后，硫酸工业迅速发展，1950-1988年的39年间，硫酸产量每年平均递增21．
　48％。产品品种有工业浓硫酸、稀硫酸、发烟硫酸，还生产蓄电池硫酸和试剂硫
酸等。主要用于生产磷肥，部分用于金属冶炼、钢铁酸洗、石油炼制以及造纸、塑
料、染料、农药、医药、军事等工业。
