　　山东省化工系统有半数以上职工直接接触粉尘和在有毒岗位上操作。据1978年
12月统计，接触粉尘和有毒物质的职工8．56万人，占统计范围内职工总人数15．
94万人的53．7％。为此，省石油化工厅把化学工业卫生作为一个专项内容，逐步
纳入系统管理的范围。1983年厅机关机构调整前，工业卫生由劳资安全处负责，改
革后其管理职能移交生产综合处，并配备专人负责日常工作。
