　　红石桥砂金开采也有用直井的，井筒直径1米，井下采掘用房柱法。因土层疏
松，顶盘不耐久，井下平硐掘凿最长不超过20米。每井寿命约月余，长者不足3个
月就塌陷。所以资本少的大都采用直井，投资少见效快。井上出沙汲水一般需4～8
人，用人力绞车(即辘轳)，也有用杠杆的，盛沙用柳条筐，每筐盛沙30余斤。每井
多者20人，少者10余人，动工48小时能下掘3米左右。一般是同时掘凿两井，一井
排水，一井出沙。
