    60年代，地方黄金矿山都是选择低洼地段、山沟等自然地形储存尾矿，有的甚
至直接将尾矿排入河流。1980年后，尾矿管理逐步加强，到1987年全省黄金矿山普
遍建立了尾矿库，设专人管理，同时还用沙土将老库区尾砂进行覆盖植被。沂南金
矿将原来堆积在地表的和新排出的尾矿，全部打入井下充填采空区，焦家金矿、新
城金矿等矿山将尾矿分级后的粗砂，作为井下充填采矿法的充填料加以利用。
