　　1832年，山东开始土法炼焦，到1949年全省累计生产土焦近30万吨。建国后，
炼焦生产由土到洋，由小到大，由单一生产焦炭发展到回收煤气、轻苯、煤焦油、
浓氨水、黄血盐等化学产品，并对轻苯、焦油进行加工。到1987年底，山东共有机
焦炉26座，设计机焦年产能力为186万吨。
