　　又称浆土、膨土岩，是一种由蒙脱石构成的粘土，在陶瓷生产中主要作增塑剂，
用以提高坯料的可塑性与结合性。山东省的膨润土矿以钙质膨润土为主，钠质次之，
均属外生矿床。主要分布于潍坊、诸城、昌邑、安丘、高密、五莲、莱阳、滕州等
市、县，质优量大，分布广，易开采，有产地百余处。1993年省内有生产矿点20余
处，均为村办土法生产，主要分布在潍坊、莱阳、安丘、五莲、即墨等地。全省探
明诸量11600.9万吨，列全国第三位。
