　　1960年经省人民委员会批准建立，系中等专业学校。原定在淄川区大昆仑建校，
后因基建迟延，影响开学，校址迁至博山北岭村原北岭窑厂旧址。占地面积5500平
方米，建筑面积1200平方米。招生列国家计划。原定学制三年，分陶瓷工艺、陶瓷
美术两个专业。1960年首届招收陶瓷工艺、陶瓷彩绘班各一个，另附设技校班一个。
1961年11月压缩学校规模，只设陶瓷工艺专业，学制改为二年。是年又招收一个班。
授课按轻工部教育司制定的教学计划，采用国家中等专业学校统一教材。学校有教
职员工25名。1962年4月首批80名学生毕业后，于6月撤销停办。
