    山东纺织专用设备制造(简称“纺机制造”)和纺织器材的生产，旧中国仅有少
数零散生产业户，规模小，设备简陋，产品单一、低级，终末形成行业规模。
    新中国成立后，为适应纺织工业发展的需要，纺织工业部将纺机制造和器材生
产，作为纺织工业发展的技术后盾，分别纳入国家计划，设有专管部门职司其事。
1958年山东纺织工业厅成立后，上下对口，分别设立了机械处(公司)和供销(器材)
公司，分别管理纺机制造和纺织器材生产。
