　　在漫长的手工纺纱时期，生产工艺简单，大体是剥棉(用两个圆轴木棍轧去棉
籽)→弹棉(用竹片弓拉上麻线，后改为铁丝，用两个木锤，反复在棉花上弹动和锤
打，使棉开松)→手摇纺车纺纱(纺成葫芦穗子)。
　　手工纺纱的成品，质量粗糙，含杂质较多，粗细不匀，支数一般相当于机械纺
纱的16～18支。一部纺车每天可纺纱100克左右。
