　　全省农村自然小水面(即坑塘)甚多。进入80年代以来，开始在低洼地上大量开
挖人工池塘。据1980-1985年全省渔业区划调查，全省坑塘水面总面积约91.8万亩，
1985年全省已利用养鱼的坑塘面积为52.1万亩，其分布为：惠民地区3.1万亩、德
州地区4.6万亩、聊城地区3.6万亩、菏泽地区7.3万亩、济宁市6.4万亩、泰安市2
.5万亩、临沂地区9.7万亩、潍坊市2万亩、烟台市5.1万亩、济南市1.4万亩、青岛
市2.7万亩、淄博市0.2万亩、枣庄市1.6万亩、东营市1.9万亩。
