　　鲁北滨海地带，历史上因黄河及内河尾闾摆动，或沥水出流和潮汐影响，造成
许多海沟河汊，逐渐延长拉深成河。建国前，该地水苦、土碱、人稀，农业极少开
发，沟河自生自灭，几无水利可言。建国后，随着工农业的发展，才开始对滨海沟
河进行治理。
　　鲁北滨海河道，流域面积大于1000平方公里的有秦口河、潮河；300～1000平
方公里的有沾利河、草桥河、挑河。
