　　灌区工程于1970年10月动工，1971年6月开灌。渠首位于齐河县焦庙乡李家岸
村。设计引水流量100立方米每秒。灌区范围包括齐河、济阳、临邑3县，设计灌溉
面积134万亩，有效灌溉面积44万亩。灌区有总干渠1条长34公里，干支渠208条，
长587公里。有总干排2条长57公里，干支沟228条，长818公里，干支渠沟建筑物
1441座。国家投资1229万元。
　　灌区除引水自流灌溉外，还为宁津、乐陵、庆云3县输送抗旱用水。1981－
1985年平均每年引水5.4亿立方米，实灌面积182万亩。1985年，灌区粮食亩产312
公斤，棉花66公斤。
