　　建国前，山东的井灌区主要分布在蓬莱、黄县、掖县、益都、临淄、寿光、桓
台、泰安、莱芜、肥城、宁阳、曲阜、兖州等县地下水丰富的山前冲积平原。水井
是人工挖掘而成的土井及少量砖、石井，井深一般3～5米，多用于饮水和浇灌经济
作物或菜园地。
　　建国后，山东省井灌的发展，经历了由浅井到深井，由人力挖掘沙层到钻机钻
取岩层水，并由人、畜力提水发展为机械提水的过程。
