　　建国以来共进行了4次全省森林资源清查。第一次是在1959年进行的，1974年
以后又在林业部统一部署下，先后进行了3次清查，1978年在清查的同时建立了连
续清查体系，为定期进行森林资源调查打下了基础。通过清查，摸清了各个时期森
林资源的面积、蓄积以及森林的消长变化情况，为有计划地指导全省林业生产提供
了科学依据。
