浓厚的封建迷信色彩和强烈的自发性。兴起于山东，遍及全国，形成了一场规模宏
大的义和团反帝爱国运动。最后，在帝国主义和清政府的联合镇压下失败。山东地
区是义和团运动的发源地，山东义和团同清政府和外国侵略势力进行了不屈不挠的
斗争。
